ABC went into last nights infomercial apparently thinking that this blatant foray into the tank for Obama would have been more a swan dive or a jack knife but NOOOOO ….. SPLASH!!!!!! It surely is a good thing Obama and the democrats got this time for free because it appears that it was seen by only the hard core bobble head O followers that would watch if it was an hour of their messiah swatting flys (which was pretty funny by the way!). Good thing there was enough water in that tank because ABC just did one spectacular belly flop! How about that pink belly!!!

With a 3.1 rating it seems ironic that the O show was beat by”Americas Got Talent” which came in at 6.1. Could this mean that we are bored with rhetoric already? This was almost 2:1 which means that people tuned in to watch amatuers rather than a professional community organizer. Leaving the highly touted ABC Nationalized Health Care infomercial to lanquish as pretty much a failure. And how about all those tough questions? I guess the only good news for ABC is that their image was so tarnished going in that this disaster really won’t hurt them much! Now lets see whose next in the tank. My bet is NBC gives the president an hour very soon. They really need to sell Cap and Trade to keep Immelt (rhymes with ice melt) in the cat bird seat at big daddy GE (rhymes with rising sea).

When the Titanic set sail there was plenty of hope and change to go around for all that were lucky enough to be a part of this historic event. When launched there was an aura surrounding this great ship, the unsinkable Titanic. This is akin to our recent election, another historic event, where hope and change was sold like so many steerage tickets on the Titanic. I reflect today on a T shirt I saw this morning – “Barack Obama – he got my back” and that image is haunting. Just like the image of watching all those smiling passengers board the majestic Titanic. The designers and promoters “got their back”, the Titanic was unsinkable just as Obama is infallible. Neither of these historic event can be seen as occurring free from outside influence. There was little warning when the Titanic hit the iceberg that cold cloudless night. And there was little time to do anything once the damage was done. We have had ample warning as our ship of state nears the economic iceberg made up of trillions of dollars of deficit spending. But, will we steer clear? There were not enough lifeboats on the Titanic and when the great ship sank many were forced to chose death in the cold waters of the Atlantic. There is no safety net for our economy now that the free market has been deconstructed. While we may not be threatened by the cold ocean waters we are most certainly in for a period of “sink or swim” while the ship of state starts to fill with the weight of debt. This is a ballast we just can’t carry now nor can our children and their children and their children carry it when we turn over the helm to future generations. We need to start pumping and hope we only hit with a glancing blow. If not, God help us…..

The earth is burning! The earth is burning, cried Chicken Little Gore. Carbon dioxide is to blame he says and we all must either stop exhaling or pay to rid the planet of this nasty greenhouse gas.

The earth is burning! The earth is burning, cried Chicken Little Gore. Carbon dioxide is to blame he says and we all must either stop exhaling or pay to rid the planet of this nasty greenhouse gas. Interestingly of the 4 or 5 major gasses commonly listed as making up the atmosphere, carbon dioxide is the least while nitrogen happens to be the most plentiful.

This politician turned scientific “guru” tells us that carbon dioxide is the most important and dangerous atmospheric gas and that we need to stop emitting or we will perish. Worse than that, a group of jackals known as the US congress and the recently installed president have seized on this idea as a way to completely kill any industry that emits carbon dioxide. Now that’s a fine approach to a down turn. It has been reported that the industry that emits the most C02 is the farming industry. We better be prepared to pay what Obama does ($100/lb) for our beef.

The CAP and trade works this way; a company that moves lots of paper, such as an insurance company or perhaps a bank, can sell carbon credits to that nasty dirty factory belching C02 down the street. This way, that nasty factory is penalized for their transgression. Oh and by the way, this is the filthy factory that the bank and insurers provide with loans and insurance protection. Are you beginning to see the irony here? This is just a way for the banking and insurance industries, when fully government controlled, to send all of this CAP and trade money back to their new owner so those that need are taken care of. Meanwhile the new administration has just thrown a wrench in the spokes of the recovery engine.

Now the fly in this ointment is who in their right mind would continue to manufacture anything here in the USA when we would be the only country in the world enforcing such a stiff penalty on manufacturers (and farmers for that matter)? All the increased costs would either have to be passed to the market or the factories would have to shut down. Either way, the lower and middle working classes, you know the working people Obama promised to protect, are ruined. They either pay more for what they buy or they stand in bread lines. Are we stupid enough to establish such a flawed program? Schemes like this have been tried before and they don’t work. Unfortunately the answer here may be yes perhaps we (our elected officials) are that stupid. The reason may be as simple as this – there are those elected officials in DC, including the president, who believe it is their destiny to write legislation that will save the planet one carbon credit at a time. This very legislation is brought to you by the people who’s penchant for “feel good” legislation created the biggest banking disaster the world has ever seen. Need I say more.

Now, as they switch their attention to the scientific realm, they are attacking a problem so complex that no computer model to date, as sophisticated as they are, comes close to accurately supporting Gore’s ridiculous claims. We can’t even get the 3 day weather forecast and Gore is projecting long term, destructive, climate fluctuations. Its absurd. The premise used to bring us to this precipice is fantasy, OK flawed at best. From a half baked slide show which includes a series of doctored pictures and graphs we end up on the eve of our elected officials voting for CAP and trade. Manufacturing here in the USA, once drivers of a flourishing economy, are now seriously wounded. As with the Alamo, these manufacturers will make a last stand but with the government wishing them dead the outcome is clear to predict. As the saying on the left goes, save the planet kill industry. CAP and trade is just one more cobble stone in the road to US ruin.

Please consider joining a movement to buy a real token of our appreciation for the British people…….

Dear Sir Sheinwald,

The people of the United States believe in the strength and importance of our relationship with our British friends. I abhor the treatment Prime Minister Brown was given during his recent visit. I hope the British people realize a president who lacks class is not representative of our society in general. Please accept my apology for this barbaric behavior. I have established a grassroots movement to try to procure and deliver to the people of the UK an appropriate token of our deep appreciation. I hope I gain traction with this movement.

Sincerely,

a concerned citizen and eternal supporter of our friends in the United Kingdom

Lately the media has been buzzing with the story of Brown’s visit and Obama’s apparent snub. The spinning wheel of excuses this time landed on “overwhelmed.” A slight digression here, did anybody hear the “house fire” analogy Gibbs came out with yesterday? WOW, where did they find these people. Even Baghdad Bob was better at his disaster control roll than our beloved Beltway Bob. OK back to overwhelmed, I heard one of the talk show guests today, an apparent supporter of Barry O say that of course Obama is overwhelmed, he didn’t plan on being president of a country in turmoil like the one Bush left him”. It is rare that I am at a loss for words but that statement did it to me. After a moment of silence, asking God to bless this moron caller with the gift of original thought I wondered if he felt the same way on 9/12/2001 for George Bush. I tend to doubt it. But I will never know. Some say love is blind. We all know liberalism is just a feeling which is emotionally close to puppy love. We see in too many cases that liberals are myopic if not completely blind to history. This was just another example. So president Bush has 9/11 during his first term and that is insignificant when you compare it to the enormous load on Barry O’s all too slender shoulders. I guess being a community organizer doesn’t really prepare you to be the leader of the free world because if it did we wouldn’t be hearing excuses like – he is overwhelmed.

Wait till he figures out that since he took the helm the IRA has killed soldiers in Northern Ireland. North Korea is thumbing their nose at us. Russia is laughing at us. The UK is completely puzzled by our lack of class. Israel is ready to go it alone. The Taliban is going to be asked to the negotiating table. Detainees at Gitmo have sent out a letter admitting their guilt and encouraging more. Our Banks are in shambles with no coherent plan in progress and this list grows by the day.

Guess all that Alinsky doesn’t prepare you for the real work of the leader of the free world!!!

Here is an interesting link from a gentleman in VT who actually voted for our Liar in Chief and who now apparently is seeing the light. What is interesting is that in each liberal rant, no matter what it’s about, George W. Bush gets a cameo. This is a very fiery analysis of the lies that Barack Hussein Obama spewed so eloquently in his speech Tuesday night (watch out for the language). Please visit this link and if you can contribute please do; that’s what good Americans do.

The Bullshit Express Whistle-Stop Tour

In the mean time let’s look into this as a possible trend… We will call it “buyer’s remorse.” We have all gone out and bought something in hopes that it would change our lives. And, we have all felt the sting when our hopes were dashed and that change we expected was for the worse. We have all consigned this thing we bought that didn’t serve its purpose to the back of a drawer, or worse, to life’s scrap heap. Enter B Hussein O. He blew up the hope balloon with so much hot air (rhetoric) and promised so much change that there is only one logical outcome. BOOM – the hope balloon will burst!!!!!!!

Obama’s biggest asset is that he will be able to stand at a podium somewhere when the balloon pops, surrounded by hypnotized Obamandroids and make a speech that waxes poetic on the failure of hope and change because of G.W. Bush. God forbid a liberal take the blame for anything. Think about it, our president has the “Audacity of a Dope” to say Bush is responsible for the economy. Was he not a member of the senate when all of this economic hocus-pocus was being addressed? Stay tuned.

The post on Ashes Ashes is indicative of more than just a ground swell. It is an indictment of our political system. This is something that we need to pay close attention to as the markets weaken, businesses close and joblessness hits new highs. Politicians and their greed got us here. Bad business decisions and greed accelerated the slide. Let’s think about getting rid of the problem by getting rid of the clearly apparent sources. You all know in business you remove non-productive employees (unless they are union members). In farming you remove weeds so that crops can grow unhampered. In life you remove cancer so that your body will survive and thrive. Why don’t we remove bad politicians so that our Country can prosper once again?

No use naming names – you all know who we need to vote out of office. When it comes to getting rid of the vermin there is a solution – we have our votes and as said so well during the 1 candidate run up to the coronation of our new king, can we get rid of the parasites, leaches and nonperformers “YES WE CAN” Take names and vote them out !!!!!
